Recently, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez celebrated their wedding for the second time. And while the dress and hair has already been talked extensively, her nails were simply stunning.

The singer opted for a very long and tapered shape, with her nail painted in a semi-transparent, almost white tone all over the top, so you could still see her white tips through it ¨C like a Frenchie, with a milky top coat.?

Tom Bachik, who created Jen’s long-time nail artist, who created her wedding day mani, has previously published pictures of the singer wearing a similar style. At the time he posted a photo of J.Lo’s freshly manicured fingers and predicted that there is “nothing more beautiful than a summer-fresh, pure white” on the nails.?

Even better, you don’t necessarily have to go to a nail salon for a manicure. Milky nails are easy enough to do at home.
So, as much as we love colourful, fancy nail designs, a clean manicure can be refreshing for a change. As stylist Tom Bachik revealed on Instagram, he filed J.Lo’s natural nails into a soft, almond shape and painted them with Bio Seaweed Gel’s nail polish in the colour Be the Light for an opaque, milky-white finish. And, as the name of the cool French nails alternative already reveals, it gives that sheer, light, fresh milky look.
